This past year we found ourselves with a finance commitment to a late model compact wheel loader that was not getting the job done and we couldn’t really utilize it.

We contacted Jeff at DeWitt Equipment Remarketing and he outlined their “Fair Market Value” consignment program. We consigned the machine to DeWitt and within a couple of weeks it was sold for price that could not be touched by the original dealer.

Our business continues to change and evolve. A short while ago, we made the decision to move out two pieces of equipment that were no longer being utilized. We considered using the auction until we viewed one of the Dewitt Remarketing posts on Facebook.

We called DeWitt and agreed to consign our two machines to their “Fair Market Value” equipment remarketing program.

Within 30 days, we had our first unit sold and cheque in hand. The second unit sold within our consignment agreement as well, both units selling for a large premium over average auction.
